The romance of rails, minus the queues

Why yatris choose BestBus rail circuits

Train travel is the most loved way to cross India — we keep it that way with four quiet guarantees.

Confirmed berths

Booked under IRCTC group quota well in advance — no waitlist anxiety, no last-minute RAC surprises for anyone in your group.

Tour manager onboard

A BestBus manager travels in your coach from first station to last — handling berths, meals, wake-up calls and every "what next?".

Station-to-room transfers

At every halt, a vehicle waits at the platform exit with your name board. Luggage to lobby, lobby to platform — handled, always.

Yatra-friendly meals

Hygienic, home-style meals with pure-veg and Jain options on every sacred circuit — served hot on the train and in hotels alike.

★★★★★

Took my mother (71) for the Kashi yatra. Lower berths kept aside, wheelchair at every station, unhurried darshan — the tour manager Naresh treated amma like his own. We cried at the Ganga aarti.

★★★★★

The Pamban bridge crossing alone was worth the ticket — the whole coach went quiet, then everyone was at the windows. Darshan at Rameshwaram was arranged before we even asked.

Govind R.MRK Temple Circuit · Secunderabad
★★★★★

Vistadome with the kids — glass roof through 58 tunnels, they counted every one. Resort bonfire at Araku, coffee estate walk next morning. Best ₹10k we've spent on a weekend.

★★★★

Eight days across Rajasthan by train sounded exhausting — it was the opposite. Sleep on the rails, wake to a new royal city, car at the platform. Brilliant logistics.

Platform wisdom

Rail travel tips from our tour managers

Three small habits that make long rail journeys feel short.

01

Ask for lower berths early

Travelling with parents or grandparents? Tell us at booking — we reserve lower berths from the group quota first, where they're easiest to secure.

02

Pack a day bag

Keep medicines, chargers, a light shawl and one change in a small bag at your berth. Big suitcases ride locked under the seat — a chain-lock keeps them honest.

03

Carry original ID

Railways accept digital ID, but temple darshan counters and hotels often want the original. One card in your wallet saves five conversations.

Before you board

Train tour FAQs

Everything yatris ask before their first rail circuit.

Confirmed. We block berths under the IRCTC group quota when the circuit opens, months in advance. Your booking is accepted only against an already-confirmed berth — we never sell waitlisted hope.

Standard circuits run in Sleeper class with 3AC upgrades available at booking; premium circuits (Rajasthan Royal, Golden Triangle) are 3AC by default. The class is printed against each package — and like our coaches, we never swap down.

Yes — breakfast, lunch and dinner on travel days, served hot at your berth, plus hotel meals as listed. Sacred circuits are pure-veg throughout with Jain options on request at booking.

Lower berths reserved on request, wheelchair assistance pre-booked at major stations, unhurried darshan slots, and a tour manager in the same coach around the clock. Over half our yatris travel with parents — the circuits are built for it.

A vehicle waits at the platform exit with a BestBus name board. Luggage moves from berth to hotel room and back without you lifting it; sightseeing runs on a relaxed, pre-shared plan with the tour manager along.

Hotels and ground services cancel free up to 10 days before departure. Train portions follow IRCTC cancellation rules for group bookings — we share the exact slab in writing before you pay, and reschedules to a later departure of the same circuit are usually free.
